Sales Policy

Reservations

All of our rabbits are first come, first served. A 50% non-refundable & non-transferable deposit is required to reserve a rabbit that is designated as “ready to reserve” unless otherwise stated. Rabbits that are ready to leave “now” will require full payment upfront. This safeguards our time and ensures our rabbits have a committed home. Rabbits will not leave our barn until payment is made in full and the rabbit is a minimum of 8-12 weeks of age. All sales are final and no refund or exchange will be given except at our sole discretion. We accept paypal or venmo - friends & family option ONLY. Final payments for local pick-ups only can be made via cash.

Show and breeding rabbits are sold with pedigrees and supplied digitally between the time of payment and no later than the time of pick up. Our rabbitry prefix "Harebell" MUST remain on the rabbit's pedigree. Registered name or tattoo changes are strictly prohibited. Rabbits designated as "pet only" are not intended for breeding purposes and will NOT be sold with pedigrees. Pet rabbits will go home with a digital personalized birth certificate upon request.

Guarantee

We guarantee any rabbit we sell to be, to the best of our knowledge, in good health and free of disease, symptoms of disease, or injury at the time the buyer or the buyer's transportation takes responsibility of the animal (ie. when the rabbit leaves our immediate care.) Unless otherwise stated, all rabbits designated for show or 4H will be free of ARBA disqualifications at the time of sale. All rabbits come with lifetime support - we value open communication with our buyers and are always available for questions. We will always make ourselves available to take back, or assist in rehoming, any rabbit that we have sold or produced for any reason during its lifetime if the buyer can no longer care for or no longer keep their rabbit.

Pricing varies depending on type, balance and style and is subject to change. Our 12+ years of expertise and lifetime support for your rabbit is included in our prices. All babies will go home with transition feed & care package.

Pick Up &
Transport

We are a closed rabbitry. This means we do not allow visitors in our barn or in-barn pick ups for the health and safety of our animals. Rabbits MUST be picked up within 1 week of their “ready-by” date unless otherwise explicitly discussed, or the deposit is forfeited and the rabbit will be available to the next qualified home. In the case of a boarding agreement, the buyer will pay $15/week to board the rabbit until the agreed upon pick-up date. Out of state homes utilizing transport may be granted up to 2 weeks on confirmed and paid transport only. Finding and coordinating transportation is at the sole responsibility of the buyer. We will work with transport services, but set up must be made and paid for by the buyer. Please note that we do not explicitly endorse any singular transport. Please use your discretion and do your own research when choosing transportation. We will do our best to suggest next available transport routes that we are aware of. Please visit our “Transport” page under the “Resources” tab for more information regarding transportation options. Refunds will NOT be granted if you are unable to find transportation for the rabbit after placing a deposit or if your transportation is cancelled. We reserve the right to refuse a third party transport service of questionable integrity.

Disclaimer

Harebell is not liable for the health and safety of the animal once it has left our care due to the risks beyond our control associated with, but not limited to, poor circumstances, handling, or care provided by the buyer or transportation service. Harebell cannot guarantee type, adult weight/size, show or reproductive success. Every attempt will be made to ensure show rabbits are free from disqualifications at the time of sale, though Harebell is not responsible for undiscovered disqualifications that may appear, or be acquired, after a rabbit is sold.

Before proceeding with any monetary exchanges, it is the responsibility of the buyer to thoroughly familiarize themselves with this policy and its terms. By sending payment, the buyer is agreeing to all the conditions specified in Harebell's policy listed above. If the buyer has not taken the time to understand the terms and conditions involving the exchange, Harebell will not be held accountable for any issues that may arise.
